6. NEW BUSINESS
A. Discussion and Possible Action regarding P-18-004 – A. Rocha Subdivision Preliminary Plat – Being a 0.271 Acre tract of land establishing Lot 54, Block 41, CB 5048, Live Oak, Bexar County, Texas. Being out of the Francisco Survey 309, Abstract 776, Situated in County block 5048, in the City of Live Oak, Bexar County, Texas as shown in Volume 4727, Page 950 of the Deed and Plat Records of Bexar County, Texas.
Chairman Hovermale read the legal description of Item 6A for the official record.
Ms. Jordan Matney made staff presentation for item 6A making the following points:
The plat presented by Torres Engineering is for a 0.271 acre plat to build a single family home at 11922 Welcome Drive.
The property is currently a vacant lot and was not included in the original overall plat of the subdivision.
The owner is dividing the oversized lot.
City Engineer has submitted a preliminary approval for plat
Ms. Matney concluded her presentation by introducing Xavier Torres with Torres Engineering.
Mr. Xavier Torres - Torres Engineering 5503 Grissom Road, Ste. 101, San Antonio, Texas 78238. Mr. Torres approached the podium and offered to answer any questions or comments from the Commission.
Commissioner Umphlett asked if the contour of the property would be altered or changed; Mr. Torres confirmed that the land contour would remain the same.
Commissioner Umphlett asked if the utility poles were located in the easement and what size home would be built; the poles are located within the easement and the size of the home to be built is unknown at this time.
Hearing no further questions; Chairman Hovermale called for a motion.
