6. NEW BUSINESS
Chairman Hovermale asked Alt. Commissioner to vote for item 6A due to her absence during Preliminary Re-Plat in April. She continued by reading the legal description for the official record. Jordan Matney made a brief summary by providing an overhead presentation. Ms. Matney summarized the following points:
IKEA RBFCU Parkway will be built to City standards according to the Subdivision Ordinance and will be accepted by the City within the 2 year phase.
The new roadway will be establish a public right of way from N. Loop 1604 E frontage road making an access point into the Live Oak Town Center.
Roadway was formally known as Randolph Brooks Parkway and has been officially changed.
Major re-plats require a Public Hearing; April 19
th
meeting served as the Public Hearing date and this will be reviewed as a Final re-plat for IKEA RBFCU Parkway.
Public Notices were sent to property owners within 200 feet; staff did not receive any opposition from said property owners.
City Engineers have no objections
Ms. Matney closed her presentation by introducing the presenter for the re-plat, Larry Heimer from Stantec Civil Engineers. Mr. Heimer introduced his officiation to the project and offered the following points:
Traffic signal will be added to Loop 1604 frontage access at IKEA RBFCU Parkway entrance.
Roadway will offer a connection into the new Town Center
Southbound right turning lane will be added off of Loop 1604 frontage road

Commissioner Umphlett asked for a progress report on the project. Mr. Heimer stated progress was being made with the entire clearing, half of a million yards of earth work completed along with the infrastructure of the Town Center and the IKEA project is moving considerably well with their schedule. Streets will begin soon within the project and estimation for completion with onsite by the end of the year. Offsite connections outside of the project will take a bit longer but overall the project phases are on the set schedule. Improvements to Pat Booker will also be included in the offsite work.

P18-002 IKEA-RBFCU Extension Subdivision REPLAT FINAL - 1.701 acres located in the City of Live Oak, Bexar County, Texas; and being out of the Francisco Villarreal Survey, A-776, and the Jose Maria Ocon Survey, A-864, consisting of a 0.0056 acre portion of Lot 2, Block 1, RBFCU ASC III Subdivision as recorded in Volume 9705, Page 77-78 of the Deed and Plat records of Bexar County, Texas; a 1.032 acre portion of a called 5.00 acre tract conveyed to Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union in Volume 16784, Page 2343 of the official public records of Bexar County, Texas and a 0.6637 acres tract, out of a called 80-foot access road as conveyed to Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union as recorded in Volume 14684, page 1798 of the official public records, Bexar County, Texas.
