DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING A RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL FOR A SIGN VARIANCE REQUEST: Variance request #V-17-003: The property owner has submitted a variance request to the City’s sign regulations authorized in Subdivision Zoning Ordinance, Appendix B-Sign Regulations, Sections 3.10, 5.3, 6.3, 10.2 for the erection of a pylon sign, building sign, seasonal banner, parking area, trademark pole banners and color flags. The property is known as IKEA in the Live Oak Town Center, Live Oak, Texas 78233. The said property is situated along the North side of IH 35 Frontage Road approximately 25 feet West of McMorris Blvd. and IH 35 Frontage Road.
