P-18-001 – QT 4047 Subdivision REPLAT – Being a total of 3.273 acre tract of land, establishing Lots 18A and 18B, Situated in the City of Live Oak, Texas, out of the Thomas Barwick Survey No. 134, Abstract No. 57, County Block 5049, Bexar County, Texas and Being all of Lot 18, Block 5049 of the Star-Judson/I.H. 35 Subdivision plat of Record in Volume 9520 Page 118 of the Deed and Plat Records of Bexar County, Texas and a portion of a 60’ private road that bounds that one certain 2.066 Acre tract on its Northeast, Southeast and Southwest sides, said 2.066 Acre tract described in Volume 3689 Page 169 of the official Public Records of Bexar County, Texas. This property is located at the corner of Randolph Boulevard and Judson Road and Fiddlers Green and east of S&P Communications, 6712 Randolph Boulevard.
Chairman Hovermale opened the Public Hearing at 6:05 p.m. and read the legal description for the official record.
Ms. Matney introduced J.D. Dudley with QT to provide the applicant presentation.

Commissioner Umphlett welcomed Mr. Dudley and QT to Live Oak. He also asked if the current building would be demolished; Mr. Dudley stated once the asbestos testing is completed, the building would be demolished

- City’s Code of Ordinances require a public hearing for a major re-plat
- Property is situated at the corner of Randolph Blvd. and Judson Road and Fiddlers Green also known as the former Drive Time commercial site.
- Proposed Quick Trip (QT) convenience store and gas pumps
- This will be one of two locations for QT; the second location will be a Gateway Shopping Center at the corner of Loop 1604 and Lookout Road
- The re-plat involves taking in a portion of the current business S&P Communications.
- Public notices were mailed to the property owners within 200 feet of the property and placed legal notices in the NE Herald newspaper
- City Engineer has reviewed and approved the re-plat
- Staff has no objections to the approval of the preliminary re-plat
