7. EXECUTIVE SESSION

A. The City Council shall meet in Executive Session under Texas Government Code Section 551.071, Consultation with Attorney, and 551.087, Deliberation regarding Economic Development Negotiations for the purposes that follow: 1. Receive advice from the City Attorney related to the final negotiations regarding commercial, financial and public infrastructure projects incentivizing a commercial/retail project proposed by IKEA Property Inc. and LOTC Holdings Ltd. regarding a business prospect to include IKEA and other commercial businesses and retailers that seeks to construct, develop and locate in the City and which the City Council is conducting economic development negotiations. 2. To deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentives to the business prospect.
